Selecting

When working with large tables of information in Excel it can be difficult to select all of the table. Ctrl+Shift+8 instantly selects an entire table of data from just one cell selected within it.

Drag & Drop between worksheets

To "drag and drop" data from one sheet in a workbook to another hold down the Alt key when dragging. (Use the Ctrl key when releasing the mouse button to Copy the data rather than move it).

Moving about the worksheet

Ctrl+Cursor is used to jump straight to data "edges" (or perimeter) of table. This is hard to explain - try it and see!!

Sizing columns

Double clicking the line that separates the column heading "Autofits" the column to the longest entry.
