Word - all versions

The recently used file list (at the bottom of the File menu) is useful, but here is another way to find frequently used documents very quickly. |

In the Tools menu, choose Customise, click on the Commands tab. Choose Built-In menus and drag the Work menu to your menu bar or any toolbar. Close the Customise dialog box. Now, when you have a document open on the screen and you wish to add it to the Work menu, click on your new Work menu and choose Add to Work Menu. You can add up to nine items. |

If you add more than nine documents to the Work menu the document that has been there the longest will be replaced by the new document. |
